TUID is providing public notice as required by the DEQ of Utah and the EPA that it's lead and copper pipe inventory has been completed, and approved with no lead, copper or galvanized connections in it's culinary water distribution system. Determination was made working with a professional engineering firm, inspecting field samples of lines and verifying engineer provided and county and state approved build sheets showing pipe and distribution specifics including pipe composition. There is no risk to human health from lead, copper or galvanized metals in the system.
